O LORD, My Lord

I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from You.”

- Psalm 16:2

The past week has not been an easy one.

All i can think to say now is that my Father, Yahweh is His name, is faithful. He never, never lets His people, His sons and daughters down.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the LORD will take me in.

- Psalm 27:10

When all is desolate, when you’re broken utterly and crying, there is no one we should cry out to but the Father. There is no one who will know our hurts and grievances better than He who bore all our weaknesses, our hurts, our heinous sins, our wounds upon the wondrous Cross.

Thank You, Father, for teaching me Your way and leading me on a level path, even when i was beset by enemies so ferocious.

Thank You, Abba, for You made me cling to You and to no other and to nothing else.

Thank You, O living God! You see fit to take one so worthless and refine him for Your glory.

But i have trusted in Your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
i will sing to the LORD,
because He has dealt bountifully with me.

- Psalm 13:5-6
