My beef with Valentine’s Day (other than it being a unashamedly commercial concoction):
1. Why just this one day to display your love to the people around you? Why not everyday?
2. Why just the people who love you? Why not those whom you find especially unlovable?
Too easy.
Too darn easy.
Love ain’t easy.
How true. Love never was easy. Realised that in the hardest, coldest way.
I seem to be walking a never ending trail, leading to absolutely nowhere.

i gave stuff to every single person in class, even if i didn’t like them. and i cant give cookies everyday, or i’ll die of liver problems (too much baking), plus i’ll go broke too. that in turn would make me sad.
and i don’t find anyone particularly unlovable.. i don’t know!! throw me with anything for a while and i’ll love it!! i even love the tree growing outside my bedroom!! (even though it sheds its leaves onto my bed, making it sandy and dried-leafy. especially for the past few days. i don’t know why.) i mean, if i can even love inanimate objects, i don’t find humans all that unlovable. i love easily, forgive easily..
so far, i can say i dislike only one person. and that person went out of her way to tick me off. time and time again. for 2 years and counting. thats why. no one else has ever had the perseverence and determination to piss me off every time we meet for 2 years. NO ONE. but yeah. maybe one or two years down the road she’ll be forgiven. (and forgotten) but for now, yeah.
i love any and everyone. but i particularly love Audition. HEH. x: go google auditionSEA. you’ll get what i mean. lolsy.
p.s. you don’t exactly look nice in uhh.. what did Charis call it? ’street cred’. yeah. you don’t look nice in that. *hint hint*
p.p.s. in my opinion, that style looks more like the ‘all-my-clothes-got-chewed-by-my-teething-puppy-and-this-is-the-only-clothes-i-have-left’ style.

we all have to admit,valentine’s day is really just a hyped up thing.
it was done to commemorate the execution of st. valentine because he tried to marry people secretly where marriages were prohibited,and (in short) got arrested and killed.
singapore doesn’t celebrate joan of arc day,so i don’t see the meaning behind celebrating valentine’s day.

Valentines’ Day is a day loaded with tons of commercial junk, you’re right – but I guess you could also call it a day designated for busy couples to spend alot more time together than usual. Or rather, to remind them to do so sometime SOON, seeing as how everything is ridiculously overpriced on Feb 14.
What about those we hate, eh?
well. Hm.. yes I have people I don’t like.. my sister for one – but I DO love them, too. There’s no one I really hate 100%. Let’s hope it stays that way.

hey mrsng. thanks a million for the cake!! i never expected you to get cake for us x) and i really regretted saying that i didn’t like chocolate, cause that was like the best chocolate cake i ever ate. maybe partially cause theres coffee in it, but i liked the texture too, it was quite brownie-ishly chewy and moist. haha. but i was more expecting a butter-cream, sugar packed, sponge cake thing. the typical kind. haha. or if chocolate, maybe a gateau of some sorts. but brownie-cake never crossed my mind. really. if its really a brownie-cake, i guess it would have cost around 60 bucks? or more..? lol. thanks for the generosity anyway. you totally rock. xD
