i keep waiting
for the other shoe to drop.
It doesn’t though,
and all there is before
me, one shoe alone
missing its twin, empty
of sole-filling feet. Where
are they? Do they amble,
perhaps trudge, naked,
sores opening on open feet,
stretching endlessly ever more
the gaping chasm between
us. Where are you? i keep
waiting, but i think it’s time to seek –
you – so very precious in
His eyes and, i believe, it should
in mine. How does one find
footprints, on cold concrete? i’ll
clasp this shoe, close to my concrete
heart, that my soul may feel
the beat, of your bare feet.
oh. i can’t say i understand it perfectly, but i can feel it in a sense, i guess. >__

did something happen to make you write this? I can almost feel how you feel while writing this. Is it an emptiness or incompleteness of something? I hope you will one day find that ’shoe’.

Hello mr sng, I haven’t seen you in ages, I hope you haven’t forgotten me/4C ‘06. Ugh I wish I could still see you every day in school, I’d make you help me with my TSD homework which is UGH three million times harder than lit pls. Anyhow, I hope you’ve been fine. Don’t give up on teaching, all the best.
Why shoe? I’m hungry, make a poem about food, and how glorious supper sounds right now! &to contradiction: I don’t think it’s a shoe. X)
Smilez..^^
Ooh it’s very… wait. what’s that word again?
No, it’s not ambiguous. It’s not enigmatic either… it WAS on the tip of my tongue.
Argh. I hate moments like these.
Wait. ohoh, it IS ambiguous. *feels stupid*
ARGH, anyway. I like it. Think it’s one of your best so far.
